Skip the Billing Address for Faster Conversions
We’ve added a new setting that lets you disable billing address fields when using Stripe Checkout — helping reduce friction and abandoned carts.
You will see the toggle under Contact Form in your Checkout Element Settings:
With this enabled, your customers will usually only see email, name, and phone fields at checkout.
A few things to note:
- 📦 Physical products will still prompt for a shipping address.
- ⚠️ If Stripe Tax is enabled in your Stripe account, billing address fields will still appear — Stripe requires them for tax calculations. We’ve added an in-editor warning to help explain this.
