Introducing the new Meta Conversion API feature (Also known as Facebook CAPI). This is your new secret weapon for enhancing the effectiveness of your advertising! It helps you track and match events happening on your server (a.k.a. your site or funnel) with actions people are taking in their browsers.

It’s like a super-smart detective. 🕵️

Here’s how it works:

It matches up actions taken on your site/funnel (server events) with activity from users who clicked on your ads (browser events). The magic here is in tying these two together, confirming that a user’s action - like buying a product or opting in to your funnel - really came from your Facebook ad.

While you can always track any event Meta supports on the browser side, our server side API tracking tracks the following events:

Purchase - The completion of a purchase, usually signified by receiving order or purchase confirmation, or a transaction receipt. For example, landing on a Thank You or confirmation page. Lead - A submission of information by a customer with the understanding that they may be contacted at a later date by your business. For example, submitting a form or signing up for a trial. Start trial - The start of a free trial of a product or service you offer. For example, trial subscription. Subscribe - The start of a paid subscription for a product or service you offer.

This gives you a crystal clear view of how your advertising budget is translating into real, verified conversions. This way, every dollar you spend on advertising can be linked to an actual result. Now you can be confident that your advertising on Facebook is truly driving value for your business!
